UPDATE ON KPIP LAW
I’m thrilled to share an incredible new chapter in my professional journey. I have relocated to Canada to join the Intellectual Property Department at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP (“Fasken”).
Fasken is a globally respected firm with an outstanding Intellectual Property group, and a shared commitment to client service, quality, and work ethics.
As part of this transition, I will continue practicing exactly as I do now, with the same responsiveness, attention to detail, and client-centered approach you’ve come to expect from KPIP Law. I will retain my credentials and right to practice before the USPTO. All invoicing will continue in USD for your convenience.
I’m excited for this next step and grateful to have you with me as I move forward.

Protecting intellectual property is about so much more than it sounds—it’s about fostering innovation and healthy competition. This runs deep within me thanks to my own unfortunate experience in which my work was stolen and published without giving me credit. As a result, I had to start over with a second dissertation program.
This taught me the harsh lesson that your ideas don’t always belong to you. It drove my career down an unexpected path as I decided that I didn’t want to see any other creator or innovator’s rights or property taken from them. So I pursued a law degree in tandem with my Ph.D.
Today, I serve those from the solopreneur and small business owner to the global company in an effort to promote ongoing advancement in the science, technology, and creative fields.
